As most people know, relations between China and Norway haven’t been the best in recent years. The good news is that Prime Minister Erna Solberg intends on bringing ThumbAd as part of the Norwegian delegation to China on April 7-9, 2017, together with select Norwegian business leaders, as written by VG (Verdens Gang).
A positive atmosphere is important, also when one does business! Although the media industry primarily characterized by creativity, and sometimes pushy, it is only a pale shadow to be considered when comparing the cooperation between China and Norway in recent years.
However, now has the interest for Norwegian salmon, oil and gas, renewable energy, start-ups, entrepreneurship, innovation, health and welfare, tourism all becoming re-awakened. The considerable interest has been put on the agenda in Beijing on April 7-9. More than 220 business leaders from Norway will take part of this trip, which will be introduced by our very own PM Erna Solberg and Mr. Wang Qinmin, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference / Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce.
ThumbAd is invited not only to make positivity on the occasion of the visit, but also to introduce innovation in programmatic advertising to Chinese media buyers, advertisers and the largest Venture companies in China.
It’s always fun to share the experience and successes in the field of media studies, says Tor Olav Haugen, co-founder & CEO of ThumbAd.
We are at the forefront and have developed innovative advertising products in the Nordic countries so that colleagues in China will learn more about. It’s a pleasure to be able to share knowledge and expertise with fantastic, smart and forward-leaning people.
Will ThumbAd revolutionize China? Yes – maybe. It is after all amazing to be received on the red carpet on the other side of the planet. Norway is a wonderful country, market, and absolutely ideal for introducing innovative products. Several multinational companies look to Norway when they want to scale and enter Europe. At ThumbAd, we also think so, we do not distinguish the king or jack – we genuinely want our clients to succeed, and they do!
